Tobacco, the front man for Black Moth Super Rainbow released his first solo album Fucked Up Friends in 2008 on Anticon records – it was recorded entirely on analogue equipment and with tape machines.
Although harder than the sounds of Black Moth Super Rainbow. With Maniac Meat (2010) Tobacco delivered an even more intense psych-synth vision of junked out analogue sonics. Tobacco collaborated with Beck on two compositions including the mindblower “Fresh Hex”
