Black Haze Analogue Guitar
The Black Haze guitar dispenses with fluid guitar body ergonomics entirely. Instead Andres Luer Solorza’s angular guitar design adopts geometric cues from the realms of modern architecture & furniture, science fiction and the design studios of Lamborghini (Reventon or Aventador) and modern sportsbikes.
Six String Science Fiction
Internally the guitar uses digital technology and the tone controls are composed of backlit L.E.D.s.. The guitar is designed with symmetry that permits both left and right handed players as well as interchangeable body components. It is probably one of the the most radical guitar body designs along with the Teuffel Birdfish. This guitar uses traditional guitar strings – it is not a digital controller.
Not sure dynamics would be compromised at all after all carbon fibre guitars have been around a while with no compromise to sound. Even so , the proof of the pudding… well some guitarists are happy to saturate the natural sound with effects of all kinds and this may lend itself happily to that. To be honest it’s nice to see something pushing the boundary of guitar design even if it is only aesthetically.
Dynamics would be compromised like crazy. Also, unless the material had some form of grain, i see no natural reverberation. I cant see how this would be improving upon anything. Even the shape dose not look ergonomic. The current problems with guitars these days are not being meet here. I know this and i’m some 17 year old on some island.
